Nachtigall.

The historic building "Zur Nachtigall" is cult in the old Hanseatic town of Lemgo.
As a restaurant, bar or pub - almost everyone associates a good story with this building. After a fire in 2011, restoration began in 2017. With a great sense of materiality, the restoration was designed and implemented with local craftsmen and architects.
Now the Nachtigall offers a light, warm and yet minimalist ambience.

Concept.

With a holistic design concept that emphasises a warm organic atmosphere and provides space for numerous guests to relax and gather. The interior architecture features open spaces accentuated by different textures and materialities in a natural muted colour palette. Industrial elements such as exposed steel and concrete beams enhance the ambience. A space with rich details that hark back to the building's construction, deliberately highlighted and clearly yet cohesively delineating the later extension.
